During their post visit, students were given a flattened white box and asked to design a different grid on each flap. Then, the boxes were assembled into dynamic, 3-dimensional drawings (with the students' help) and installed collectively by our K.I.D.S. Teaching Artists outside of each classroom.
Concepts of surface, structure, and the grid explored in the gallery were revisited and reinterpreted here into singular, multi-layered projects. Have a look at these fascinating student works!
Special thanks to Teaching Artists Meghan & Ruth, our NEW K.I.D.S. intern, Elsa, and all of our School Programs participants. We look forward to another exciting round in the Spring!
